Yesterday when Ramin came home from work he brought a fresh mallard with him for us to practise with. Flippe then got to work with warm game for the first time. While Flippe's grip was fairly shallow, it was a joy to see his enthusiasm and initiative. Maybe someday… [Although the hunting season is over, we got an injured bird that was being cared for by a workmate but didn't make it. -Ed.]
